The most common symptom of uterine cancer is unusual bleeding from the vagina, such as:

  • Bleeding after menopause
  • Bleeding between periods
  • Heavier menstrual bleeding
  • Watery vaginal discharge or bloody discharge

Less common symptoms are pain in the pelvic area or pain during sex.

There are other conditions affecting the uterus, such as fibromas, which can also cause unusual vaginal bleeding.

Bleeding is usually the first sign of uterine cancer, and the earlier this is detected, the better the chances of a cure.
